Our client in Western NY is seeking a Network Security Engineer.

This position will:

• Identify/remedy firewall, network and other complex issues
• Collaborate with Interact business/tech units to develop network comm. requirements to produce/deploy security solution(s)

Requirements:

• Expert-level network eng experience such as:
  • Routing
  • Switching
  • Firewalling
  • General data comm.
  • Security
  • Proficiency in:
    • Check Point Firewall sys:
      • Design
      • Admin
      • Problem resolution
      • Cisco routing/switching:
        • Admin
        • Config
        • Problem resolution
  • Thorough grasp of firewall/network security including:
    • Designing
    • Implementing
  • Sophisticated grasp of:
    • Best practices
    • Encrypting standards
    • Perimeter network concepts/practices
